New bilingual website for the local company Fabbro Arredi, who communicates with the world

New image and new content now available in two languages, Italian and English, to achieve the right visibility, also at international level.

What is it about?

Fabbro Arredi has renewed its image through the launch of the new bilingual website developed by Papion and now presents itself to an international audience in a more immediate and dynamic way: the site is available in Italian and English to communicate with audiences abroad as well.

What does the project look like?

We collaborated with Fabbro Arredi in the execution of the project by translating texts for pages, technical descriptions of products and projects, contact forms, news and micro-texts. In addition to the section dedicated to the presentation of the company, the site also leaves room for an in-depth review of custom-made products and design collections as well as pages giving an account of the most emblematic projects developed in the public and private sectors. There are of course also technical pages devoted to manufacturing processes and a news & press section, which brings together initiatives promoted by the company and the press review.

How was the translation work organized?

We managed the work directly on the WordPress platform in constant collaboration with the Company’s marketing department and Papion, the studio that developed the site. Alongside the actual translation, substantial work went into the management of texts, updates and the adaptations required to best address a foreign audience. The final revision of the texts, images and links also constituted an important operation, carried out on several fronts together with Papion.

What were the challenges and the strategies adopted?

In addition to co-ordination prior to, during and after translation, it was essential for the translator to be well acquainted with the design sector and study the company’s products in detail, analyzing all technical and terminological aspects. Fabbro Arredi also carries out special artistic and craftsmanship projects so the translation of the content deserved particular attention and in-depth study.

The new Fabbro Arredi website succeeds in conveying the company’s image and personality to the world and in communicating information to customers and interested users in a simple and direct manner. An excellent start for a local company that wants to open up to foreign contact.
